‍

How long do we store your data?

Unless a specific storage period is mentioned in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you make a valid request for deletion or revoke your consent, your data will be deleted – unless there are legally permissible reasons for retaining it (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law). In that case, the data will be deleted once these reasons no longer apply.

‍

Your right to withdraw consent

Some data processing activities are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.

‍

Right to object to data processing in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If your data is processed based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data – this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The specific legal basis for the processing can be found in this privacy policy.

If you object, your personal data will no longer be processed – unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection under Art. 21 (1) GDPR).

If your personal data is used for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time. This also applies to profiling related to direct marketing. Once you object, your data will no longer be used for advertising purposes (objection under Art.21 (2) GDPR).

‍

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive the data that I process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

‍

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted in certain cases. To do so, contact me at any time using the contact information in the imprint. The right to restrict processing applies in the following situations:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with me, I usually need time to verify this. While this is being reviewed, you have the right to request the restriction of processing.
  • If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request the restriction of processing instead of deletion.
  • If I no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the exercise, defense, or establishment of legal claims, you may request the restriction instead of deletion.
  • If you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balancing of interests must take place. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of processing.

‍

If the processing of your personal data has been restricted, such data – apart from storage – may only be processed with your consent, or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
